Company History

Family Real Estate Service, Inc. was established in 1976 by Bert & Myra Weinman as a real estate sales office.  As people bought homes, but then were transferred out of the area, we began to do property management to allow people to rent out their homes while living out of the area.

Steven Weinman, began working in the office in 1982 as an office assistant, and was licensed as a real estate agent (broker) in 1984. He became an associate broker (managing broker) in 1988, after graduation from Pacific Lutheran University.  Steven began managing the office full time in 1999.  Bert & Myra retired completely in 2011.

Family Real Estate Service moved from its original home of 38 years to a new location in January 2014 and is still providing quality rental management and sales services.

In addition, Steven Weinman has become a real estate instructor and soon will be offering classes at Mount Rainier Real Estate School.
